- In Windows 7 and Vista, click Start. In the search box, type cmd , and then press Enter.
- >In Windows XP, from the Start menu, click Run… . In the “Open:” field, type cmd , and then click OK.
- This will open the command prompt. At the prompt,write ‘ipconfig’ and hit Enter . This will display your network information, including your default gateway.
If you don’t know your default gateway, the one that is given by the manifacturer or you have forgotten to what you have changed it, that you should check it in this way:

My default gateway does not show, is says default gateway but dosnt show IP or whatever
