Increase the functions of Internet Explorer7 with IE7Pro

As you know Internet Explorer is one of the oldest browser in the IT-world. Lately this browser became unsupportive for all attributes of web page designing, because the programmers  didn’t do any new stuffs or extensions for IE users. Explorer extensions are not very popular nowadays, I know only few of them. Fortunately last year someone has created an excellent add-on for IE7 called IE7Pro. This add-on will make your  IE friendlier, more useful, secure and customizable. I must mention it that: even though this extension is perfect I still remain a Chrome fanatic.

After the installation of IE 7 Pro, IE7  will look totally the same as before, only that in the status line will appear the IE 7 Proicon. This icon will help you to use the extension. Additional options are very familiar for those people that  use Firefox, because a lot of this options are similar with Firefox add-ons, also you will be  able to use a lot of options that are authentic only for IE browser.

One of the options of this software is it’s support for new tabs and Add-ons for blocking flash sites, pop-ups and ads. User scripts are interesting stuff that can be added for better functionality. One of these is downloading(grabbing) videos from youtube or other video sites, or changing the outlook of some of the most popular sites on the net. And that is not all, below  you can read some of features that  this extension offers you.

  • 1. Double click to close tab.
  • 2. Open new tab from address bar.
  • 3. Enable/disable tab browse history manager.
  • 4. Enable/disable crash recovery
  • 5. Move the IE menu bar above the address bar
  • 6. Hide search bar.
  • 7. Modify the maxium number of parallel connections to the web server.
  • 8. Select the external program to view page source

Uninstalling this extension is very simple. More details about each option of this Explorer extension you will find at the wiki site programmers.

Our conclusion is that once you try this extension you can’t let it back.
